The most important faze of a puppy’s life is from the age from three to seven weeks old, if we fail in this matter as a breeder nothing can make it right later. It’s important to have in mind that this has nothing to do with general education of the pup. The puppies must learn that the world is safe and good. From the beginning they must be marked on humans and later on, on the other dogs in the house.

Did you know that a puppy is born with it’s ears and eyes closed, this of course could be to protect the puppy against dirt if it was born in a cave in the ground. Our puppies are born in our den or at my office, because we think that being close to the puppies is important. Through the smell the young puppy sense much more than you would expect.

When they are about 12 to 16 days old their eyes and ears are opened and you can not imagine the joy it is to see such a small puppy wagering the tail, when it’s in our hands…. Because this indicates the contact has been made.

The first 3 weeks of the puppies’ life they mostly eat and sleep.

I am starting to feed them when they are around 3-4 weeks old, as it is important for me, that they become good at eating a balanced diet before going to their new homes. Also as time goes by they learn every days sounds and smells like vacuum cleaner, radio and TV.
When they are about 5-6 weeks old if the weather allows it, the puppies are outdoors to play about 1-2 hours daily with different toys and we try to give them  new challenges as they grow older. They still need a lot of sleep.

A dog demand especially three things in life: a firm hand, safety and…. love.

If you are buying a puppy from us, you must expect us to contact you, as we want to know if everything is going to your satisfaction, this is of course because  we want to follow our puppy’s development further on.
